The MVG Museum is very easy to reach by car, however, offers very limited parking space only on the premises of the venue this summer. We therefore recommend to come by tram or taxi.
With its proximity to the A8 motorway, the location has a good connection to long-distance routes and offers limited parking space.
BY TAXI
There will be a mobile TAXI stand by TAXI Munich on the left-hand side of the entrance to the MVG grounds.

The next taxi stand Balan-Chiemgau is located at Balanstraße 105 on the corner of Balanstraße – Chiemgaustraße approx. 600m away from MVG Museum.

You can easily reach the MVG Museum from MUC Airport in around 45 minutes by public transport.
At the airport, take the S8 towards the city center to Ostbahnhof (Munich East). From there, bus line 145 (in the direction of Fasangarten) will take you to the Ständerstraße stop, which is only a 10 minute walk from the MVG Museum.

Approx. 25min by Tram 17 (Direction Schwanseestraße) until stop Schwanseestraße. From there it is about an 8 minute walk to the MVG Museum.
From Munich East:
Take bus line 145 in the direction of Fasangarten to the Ständerstraße stop, which is also an about 8 minute walk from the MVG Museum.
From Munich City Center:
The bus line 144 takes you from various downtown locations directly to the Ständerstraße stop.
